This is a cycling ride of support for oncology patients with breast cancer and gynecological cancer.That has been held since 2015,during the first week of October, under the institutional patronage of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia, the Institute of Public Health of Serbia, the Institute of Oncology and Radiology, Clinical Centers in Serbia, citizens, patients, associations, healthcare institutions and socially responsible companies, sports clubs, and local governments in over 30 cities and municipalities in Serbia,and region. The campaign units at the local, national and regional level all those who can influence on better survival and early detection disease.
Organization
The Women Center Milica is a national association established to improve the position, quality of life, and health of women. Our primary goal is to promote the importance of regular check-ups and self-examinations, as well as to advocate for and support those affected by breast cancer and gynecological cancer. The association has existed since 2010 and connects and has a database of 1000 patients personally and networks and represents the needs of six local patient associations in Serbia. Within the association, there is an actively functioning Expert Council composed of 16 specialists in the field of oncology from reputable oncology centers.
