We want to celebrate the fact that Gynecological Oncology is a reality and that there are expert doctors who know how to manage our disease. On the date, we invite women in the park opposite the University Clinic for gynecological cancers to inform them about it. We expect doctors, nurses, and the hospital administration to join us. We aim to bring women together and show them they are not alone if diagnosed with a gyn cancer. We are survivors, and we want to share our experience. We are going to have different happenings like yoga, photography, and painting as well as distribution of information about gyn cancers and of our newly established organization.

Organization

Our organization is a newly established entity, but with a history dating back to 2016, when we were active as a group in another cancer organization. At the moment, we are the only one in Greece exclusively for gyn cancers. We aim to establish a safe place for women who go through this difficult journey. Having a good interaction with the Greek members of ESGO, and since we are part of ENGAGe, we are capable of offering the right information to the women who come to us about the best practices or therapies given. We offer psychological support and information about their labor rights. We also focus on prevention, on Quality of life, on sexual health in collaboration with other groups, organizations, and experts on their field
