The World Gynaecologic Oncology Day at Aga Khan Hospital Mombasa is graciously supported by the East Africa Comprehensive Women Cancer Project (EA-CwCP) being implemented by Aga Khan Hospital, Mombasa and financed by AfD, Gates Foundation and AKF to support and strengthen existing cancer control efforts by aligning with the Ministry of Health's strategic objectives.
The project aims to, Improve and expand oncology infrastructure to provide comprehensive cancer care across partnering hospitals and community levels, Build the capacity of healthcare staff through training, foster retention of local professionals via accredited programs, Strengthen community-level cancer care by promoting preventive services-screening and early detection.
