Vulvar Awareness Campaign by ISSVD

The International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease (ISSVD) and ESGO/ENGAGe are partnering to raise awareness of vulvar and vaginal cancers through a shared campaign. Together, we will cross-share resources and amplify outreach by promoting WORLD GO Day, future webinars, and ISSVD’s Vulvar Awareness Day on September 18th. This collaboration unites our efforts to highlight prevention, early detection, and treatment, while supporting patients and educating the global community.

Organization

The International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease (ISSVD) is a global, multidisciplinary organization of health professionals dedicated to advancing knowledge, research, and clinical expertise in vulvar and vaginal health. Founded in 1970, ISSVD brings together gynecologists, dermatologists, pathologists, oncologists, physical therapists, psychologists, and other specialists to improve patient care through education, collaboration, and scientific exchange. The Society organizes world congresses, courses, and webinars, develops guidelines and terminology, and serves as a trusted resource for clinicians and patients worldwide, with the mission of improving women’s health across all regions.
