The association SVE za NJU, in cooperation with the Croatian Society of Gynecologic Oncology, UHC Zagreb, UHC Sestre milosrdnice, Proffesional society of gynecological nurses organizing the event “ Women’s Health: No Stigma, No Shame” on the occasion of World Gynecologic Oncology Day (WGOD), September 20. Event is organized with help and coordination by World GO Day Ambassador Gabrijela Sopta Primorac, who is also a panel participant. The event will feature a roundtable discussion with doctors, nurses, psychologists, patients, addressing prevention, awereness, stigma and shame, treatment, and psychosocial support. It aims to strengthen the voice of women with gynecologic cancers and foster a community of knowledge, empathy, and solidarity.
Organization
The Association of Women Affected and Treated by Cancer EVERYTHING for HER, established on March 21, 2008, is a voluntary, non-profit organization providing informative, psychological, and logistical support to women with cancer and their families. In May 2010, we opened a Center offering professional psychological help, psycho-education, nutritional counseling, legal support, specialist lectures, and workshops and various complementary programs, such as yoga, thai chi, choir and creative workshops. All services are provided free of charge. We received several awards for our work and campaigns.
