GPU/Oncology group was founded in 2014 to protect patients’ rights, facilitate their access to diagnosis, modern treatment, physical and psychological rehabilitation and prevention via advocacy, communication and social mobilization. TB, Oncology and diabetes groups were created from beginning, and in September 2016, GynOnco group was established separately, to support woman with gynecological cancer at every stage of their disease and to improve timely case detection and access to modern methods of treatment.
