Swietokrzyskie Cancer Centre (HCC) in Kielce is one of 16 regional oncology centers, which form a network of oncology centers throughout Poland. The Centre integrated team approach to oncology care in which medical surgical and allied health care professionals consider all relevant treatment options and develop an individual treatment plan for each patient collaboratively. Department of Gynaecologic Oncology at HCC is accredited as a training center by the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO) and together with ENGAGe and Blue Butterfly Association collaborates in the project “Improving care in Poland” aiming to change care so that patients could better navigate treatment pathways and have access to a more holistic approach, especially in the area of supportive care.
