To mark World Gynaecologic Oncology Day, PVOGS ANZ is collaborating with the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO) to raise awareness among medical students and junior doctors about gynaecologic cancers. Our online campaign highlights early warning signs, prevention strategies including HPV vaccination and screening, and the importance of equitable access to care. Through engaging infographics and clinical pearls shared across our social media channels, we aim to empower the next generation of clinicians to advocate for early detection and improved outcomes in gynaecologic oncology.
Organization
PVOGS ANZ is an organisation that engages with junior doctors and medical students with an interest in the fields of obstetrics, gynaecology and women's health. In particular, it addresses the gap between finishing medical school and starting specialist training. Supported by and affiliated with The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), PVOGS provides its members with opportunities and resources to facilitate their careers in women's health, through conferences, workshops, podcasts and educational resources.
