A group o sailing boats with patients onboard will circumnavigate the Elba Island to raise awareness on gynaecological cancers. It is organized by Acto Toscana, Acto Sicilia and Acto Lombardia.
Organization
Acto Toscana, Acto Sicilia and Acto Lombardia are members of the Acto Network of patient advocacy group engaged in the prevention and care of all gynecological cancers, consisting of 1 national and 7 regional Acto Associations in Italy, independently established and autonomous, in Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, Tuscany, Campania, Apulia and Sicily. Acto mission is to improve the awareness, to promote prevention and screening, to support equal access to care, to organize initiatives improving patinent quality of life and to advocate for their rights.
