As part of our Patient Education Series, this event in Korça will be held at the Regional Hospital on 22 September to mark World GO Day. It will focus on education and awareness about gynecological cancers, as well as breast and lung cancer. The session aims to inform patients, families, and the public through accessible presentations by healthcare professionals, highlighting prevention, early detection, and access to care. The event will also include open discussions and community engagement to support cancer awareness at the regional level.
Organization
Europa Donna Albania is an NGO that promotes breast cancer awareness, patient rights, and access to quality care across Albania. As part of the broader Europa Donna Coalition, we work to empower patients, influence policy, and reduce disparities in cancer services—especially in underserved regions. Through education, community engagement, and collaboration with healthcare institutions, we aim to improve early detection, treatment access, and survivorship for women affected by cancer.
