The Norwegian Gynecological Cancer Society (Gynkreftforeningen) had a stand at Jentemila (a women’s race in Oslo), where we handed out information about the organization and helped raise awareness of gynecological cancer symptoms.
Organization
Gynkreftforeningen (The Norwegian Gynecological Cancer Society) is run by volunteer women who are living with, or have lived through, gynecological cancer. Our main focus is the patient: we work to share knowledge about what needs to improve in diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, follow-up and prevention within the healthcare system.
