Throughout September, Asociația PREVIA will run an online awareness campaign dedicated to gynecologic cancers. The campaign will share the real stories of women who have experienced gynecologic cancer, giving them a safe space to speak about diagnosis, treatment, recovery and life beyond cancer.
Alongside these personal stories, we will provide information about the five main types of gynecologic cancer, prevention, symptoms that should not be ignored and the importance of early diagnosis.
Through honest voices and reliable information, we aim to reduce stigma, encourage open conversations about gynecologic health and help women feel seen, heard and supported.
Support, not stigma.
Organization
Asociația PREVIA is a Romanian nonprofit organization dedicated to cancer prevention, patient rights, and support for people affected by cancer and their families. Our work focuses on raising awareness about HPV, vaccination, screening, and the early detection of gynecologic and other cancers. We organize educational campaigns, information sessions, workshops, and community activities, including initiatives for people living in rural or underserved areas. We also create safe spaces where patients, survivors, and caregivers can connect, share their experiences, receive emotional support, and find reliable information. We promote education, empathy, and support.
