The association “Sibirka” from Arilje, a member of the “ Women’s Center Milica”, will mark World GO Day on September 19 in a special and deeply symbolic way — through dance, tradition, and togetherness.
Dressed in traditional folk costumes, the women of Sibirka will dance to raise awareness about gynecological cancers and send a message of strength, hope, and solidarity to every woman facing cancer.
World GO Day reminds us that prevention, early detection, timely treatment, and access to quality healthcare can save lives. But it also reminds us that support must not end when treatment does.
Through their dance, the women of the “Sibirka” Association will celebrate life and remind us that every woman deserves to be seen, heard and supported.

The association "Sibirka" from Arilje, a member of the network of organizations for the support and advocacy of women affected by breast and gynecological cancers, led by the Women’s Center Milica from Serbia, is dedicated to promoting women’s health and raising awareness about the importance of prevention. Through its activities, association "Sibirka" reminds women of the importance of regular health check-ups, healthy lifestyle choices, and taking timely action when changes or early symptoms occur. Through education, support and open conversations, we strive to encourage women to take greater care of their health and seek medical advice in time, because early detection can make a crucial difference.
