Europa Donna Slovenia will open its Purple September campaign in Sežana with an awareness activity and a tree wrapped in purple. Under this year’s message, “Take Care of Your Essential Parts – Your body is more precious than what you wear,” we will encourage women to know their bodies, recognise possible signs and symptoms and take care of their gynaecological health.
This is the first of 22 awareness activities taking place across Slovenia this year as part of Purple September and World GO Day.
Organization
Europa Donna Slovenia is a national patient advocacy organization dedicated to raising awareness about breast and gynaecological cancers and supporting women affected by these diseases. As part of the wider Europa Donna network, we focus on awareness, education, advocacy and support for patients and their families. Through our activities, we provide reliable information, organize awareness campaigns and events, and work with healthcare professionals and decision-makers to improve prevention, early detection, treatment and quality of life. We are committed to empowering women, breaking stigma and making sure the voices and needs of patients are heard.
