On the occasion of World Gynecologic Oncology Day, ACTO Campania renews its commitment to promoting prevention, information, and early diagnosis regarding gynecologic cancers, helping to raise awareness and combat the stigma and silence that still surround these diseases. On the evening of September 20, 2026, the Clock Tower of Avellino—an iconic city landmark—will be illuminated as a gesture of solidarity with women affected by gynecologic cancers and to highlight the importance of prevention, information, and timely access to care.
Organization
ACTO Campania is an association within the ACTO network dedicated to the fight against ovarian cancer through information, prevention, awareness-raising, and support for women and patients. It also promotes collaboration with institutions and the scientific community to foster research, training, professional development, and greater protection for those affected by the disease.
