International Gynaecological Awareness Day

10. 9. 2025
Australia
Join me in celebrating International Gynaecological Awareness Day – 10 September! This is a global day started by Kath Mazzella to break the silence around gynaecological health issues, reduce stigma, and bring communities and healthcare professionals together. Whether you host a small workshop, decorate cardboard undies to start a conversation, or simply share knowledge—every action helps. Let’s speak up, support early intervention and share widely: tag three friends and invite them to share too. You can find resources and register an event via the IGAD media kit — let’s raise our voices and break down the stigma.

Organization

My name is Kath Mazzella OAM. I am a Gynaecological cancer survivor/advocate, a Health Ambassador for SIMN and Australian Gynaecological Cancer Foundation. I lobby for an International Gynaecological Awareness Day #IGAD and seek your support to promote/celebrate IGAD September 10, 2024, to share the importance of Gynaecological and related mental health issues. Thus, creating greater research, education funding, community interest and support for women.
