As part of World GO Day, KMC Hospital Attavar Oncology Centre, in collaboration with Swarna Sanjeevini Seva Trust, organized a special initiative dedicated to supporting women with gynaecological cancers. The event focused on extending both financial and emotional support to patients, ensuring that care goes beyond medical treatment.
Organization
Established in 1992, at KMC Hospital Attavar Oncology Centre is the first cancer department in Mangalore to provide comprehensive cancer care to patients of the region. This significant development marked a turning point in the region’s healthcare landscape, addressing a critical need for accessible, specialised cancer care. KMCHAOC is under KM Hospital Attavar which is a unit of Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
