“Turquoise September” 2025 is the awareness month dedicated to gynecological cancers of the pelvis: ovarian, cervical, endometrial, vaginal, and vulvar. Throughout France, many events will be held to inform, support, and raise awareness. In 2025, IMAGYN is already present at 71 events thanks to the commitment of its volunteers and the list is still growing.
Organization
IMAGYN (Initiative of Women with GYNecological cancers), an association of patients and relatives recognized by the Ministry of Solidarity and Health, is committed to awareness and prevention of gynecological cancers, still little-known and taboo. Each year, 17,000 cases are diagnosed and 8,400 women die, some of which could be avoided with earlier detection. For 10 years, IMAGYN has acted with passion and determination to support patients, raise awareness, and push for change. Research is progressing, information is spreading, but the road ahead remains long.
