The Association ''ALTo, Lotta al Tumore ovarico'' was founded by a group of patients who suffer from high grade serous ovarian cancer, to represent and protect the right to care for sick women, with the purpose to reduce their mortality through the support to the scientific research and raising public awareness. Especially, the association wants: · to support the scientific research to reduce the incidence and the mortality of the women who suffer from ovarian cancer; · to raise public awareness and to give increased visibility to this pathology; · to fight for getting appropriate funds to be addressed to the scientific research focused on the ovarian cancer care; · to promote and support events with information purposes
