The Gynecology and Obstetrics Department at the General Hospital Pula cares for women across Istria, providing services in general gynecology, obstetrics, fetal medicine, urogynecology, and gynecological oncology. The department serves approximately 90,000 women living in Istria, ensuring comprehensive care for both routine and specialized needs. Under the leadership of Doc.dr.sc Dragan Belci, the department focuses on early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of gynecological cancers, promoting awareness and patient support. The commemoration of Gynecologic Oncology Day was inspired by Dr. Gabriela Sopta Primorac, the ambassador of WorldGO Day, to whom we express our sincere gratitude.
